Terms & Conditions
What you are agreeing to when you use Wordly. Plain English, and short enough to actually read before you pay.
1. Who we are, and what these terms cover
Wordly is an academic support service operating in Sri Lanka. These terms apply to everything you do on wordly.lk and to every service you buy through it — the AI Humanizer, the AI Checker, Turnitin reports, AI removal, Research Writing and data analysis, CV writing, and anything else offered from your account.
By creating an account, placing an order, or making a payment, you accept these terms and the Refund Policy, which forms part of them. If you do not accept them, do not pay for anything.
You must be the person whose work you are submitting, or have that person's permission to submit it.
2. Your account
One account belongs to one person. You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself and for everything done from your account.
Each account is issued a Wordly ID (for example W00125). It is how we tie an anonymous bank transfer to your account, so it must be written in the Remarks field of every bank slip. A transfer that carries no Wordly ID may take considerably longer to match, or may not be matchable at all.
The Wordly ID is for bank transfers only. A card payment carries your identity through the payment gateway and needs no reference — there is nowhere to type it and nothing to look for.
We ask for a WhatsApp number because every service here ends in something that can go wrong in a way only you can resolve — an unreadable slip, the wrong file attached, a transfer that matches no account. Without a number we have no way to reach you.
3. What your document has to look like
Our checking and processing services read the text of your document. Documents that do not meet the conditions below cannot be processed, and in most cases we will not know that until we try.
Turnitin AI report — word limit: 400 to 30,000 words. Below 400 words there is not enough text for the AI indicator to be produced; above 30,000 the document is rejected by the checking system itself.
The document must contain real, selectable text only. Scanned pages, photographs of pages, images of text, and encrypted, password-protected or permission-restricted PDFs are not supported.
⛔ No refund and no free recheck will be given where the required word limits and conditions above were not met. Please check your document before you pay — a PDF you cannot select text in is a PDF we cannot read either.
Where a document fails for one of these reasons we will tell you what was wrong with it. You are welcome to fix it and submit again, which is a new order.
4. Turnaround, and what is not counted in it
Turnaround times quoted on this site — for example 10–20 minutes for a Turnitin report — are measured from the moment your payment has cleared, not from the moment you upload.
Payment verification time is not processing time. A card payment is confirmed by the payment gateway instantly, so processing begins at once. A bank transfer has to be matched against your slip and your Wordly ID before processing can start, and how long that takes varies with the time of day and the banking day.
If you need something urgently, pay by card. It is the only way to remove the verification wait entirely.
Turnaround times are our honest estimate and not a guarantee. Where a delay is caused by something on our side and is not resolved, the Refund Policy applies.
5. Payment
We accept card payments through Dialog Pay and bank transfers to the accounts listed in the app. Prices are shown in Sri Lankan Rupees and are inclusive of any charges we apply.
The price you are shown at the point of ordering is the price we charge. If a price changes afterwards, that has no effect on an order already placed — the amount is fixed to your order when you place it.
For bank transfers, a legible payment slip carrying your Wordly ID is required before an order can be verified. We cannot act on an order with no slip attached.
Either payment method may occasionally be paused — for example when nobody is available to verify transfers. Where that happens the app tells you so on the payment screen and tells you what to use instead.
6. Credits
Some services are paid for with credits bought in advance: AI Humanizer credits (which are separate for each humanizer), AI Checker credits, and Data Analysis credits.
Credits are tied to the service they were bought for. Once purchased they cannot be transferred to buy any other service, moved between balances, transferred to another account, or exchanged for cash.
This includes the two humanizers, which are separately priced and hold separate balances. Credits bought for one cannot be spent on the other.
Please buy the credits for the service you actually intend to use. If you are not sure which that is, ask us first — we would far rather answer a question than take a payment you cannot use.
Credits do not expire while your account is open. Credits held on an account that is closed for a breach of these terms are forfeited.
7. Reports, storage and your privacy
We assure that none of the documents you submit are stored in any repository. Your work is not added to the Turnitin repository or to any other database of student work, so it cannot be matched against itself in a later check — by you, by your institution, or by anyone else.
Documents and reports are deleted from our systems automatically:
- Turnitin documents and reports — deleted 24 hours after they are delivered to you. Download them promptly, and keep your own copy.
- Generated datasets — kept for a few days so you can download them again from My Datasets, then deleted.
- Working files (uploads, extractions, temporary downloads) — deleted within hours.
- Payment slips — kept as a payment record for a limited period after the order is settled, then deleted.
- CVs — kept for six months from payment so you can keep editing and re-downloading, then deleted in full.
Once a file has been deleted it is gone and we cannot recover it. Please keep your own copy of anything you are given.
We use your details only to run the services you ask for and to contact you about them. We do not sell them.
8. What we will not do
You may not use Wordly to:
- submit somebody else's work as though it were yours, or submit a document you have no right to submit;
- break the rules of your university, institution or awarding body. What is permitted in your programme is your responsibility to know, and ours to stay out of;
- resell, redistribute or share access to our services or to the reports we produce;
- attempt to obtain services without paying for them, or to interfere with the site or with other customers' data.
Our reports are information about a document. What you do with that information is your decision and your responsibility.
9. Written work and CVs
For services where our team writes or prepares work for you — Research Writing, data analysis, CV writing and similar — the following apply.
Work is prepared to the brief and the requirements you give us. Give us the wrong requirements, or change them after work has begun, and the result will reflect that. Please send everything relevant up front.
A CV is one document. Rs. 1,000 buys one CV, which you may edit and re-download for as long as your account is open, within the download limits shown in the builder. A CV for a different person is a different CV. The name on a CV is locked at the first download for exactly that reason.
Where our work is submitted for assessment, the grade or outcome is not something we control and is not something we guarantee.
10. Premium accounts and their warranty
Premium Accounts are ready-made subscription accounts for third-party tools. You choose a product and, where one is offered, how long you want it for; the price, the period and the warranty shown for that option at the moment you buy are the ones that apply to your order, and are recorded on it.
Login details are sent to your account page once your payment has been verified. Verification of a bank transfer is done by a person and is not part of any delivery time.
- The warranty runs for the number of days shown for the option you bought, counted from the day the account is delivered. When that period ends, the warranty ends — whether or not the subscription itself is still running.
- It can be claimed once, and what it provides is a replacement account. If the account stops working within the warranty period we replace it one time. After that replacement no further replacement is given, even if warranty days remain.
- If a replacement is not available when you claim — the service has been withdrawn, or we cannot supply another account for it — we refund you instead, in proportion to the part of the period you have not used. The days already used are not refunded. For example, an account bought for 30 days that fails on day 10 with no replacement available is refunded for the remaining 20 days — two-thirds of the price paid.
- An option sold with no warranty has no warranty.
You are asked to confirm that you understand this each time you buy an account, before you pay. We keep a record of that confirmation with your order, and it is printed on the invoice you receive for it.
An invoice is issued for every order, as a PDF, when the order is placed. You can download it again at any time from your account page.
The warranty does not cover an account that stops working because of how it was used: changing its email address, password or recovery details; sharing it beyond what the product allows; using it in a way the tool's own provider prohibits; or a provider changing or withdrawing its service after the warranty period.
To claim, message us from your account's registered WhatsApp number within the warranty period with your order number and what has gone wrong.
11. Refunds
Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy, which forms part of these terms. In short: we refund when we fail to deliver, and not because an order was placed by mistake or because you changed your mind.
Please read it before you pay. It is one page.
12. Suspension and closure of an account
We may restrict or close an account that breaches these terms. Where we do, we record a reason and you are shown it.
Demanding money back for a reason outside our control, or asking your bank or card issuer to reverse a payment for work that was delivered, will result in your account being permanently closed. Any credits, prepaid checks and prepaid CVs held on it are forfeited, and we will not accept future orders from you.
If something has gone wrong, tell us. Almost everything can be sorted out by a message.
You may close your own account at any time by asking us. Credits and prepaid balances are not refundable on a voluntary closure.
13. Limits on our liability
Our services are provided as they are. We take care over them, but we do not warrant that a third-party system we rely on — a checking provider, a rewriting provider, a payment gateway, a bank — will always be available or always be correct.
Where we are liable to you, our liability for any order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect losses: a missed deadline, a mark, a place on a programme, or a decision made by your institution.
Nothing here limits any liability that cannot be limited under Sri Lankan law.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms. The version in force is the one published on this page, and the date it took effect is shown at the bottom.
Where a change is substantive, you will be asked to read and accept the terms again the next time you pay for something. An order already placed is governed by the terms you accepted when you placed it.
